Miscellaneous

On Aug 12 (or earlier) I ordered a free sample and paid the $4.95 Shipping fee. When I got my Visa statement on Sept 6. I noticed a charge from WCS Services for $4.95 on Aug 14 and another charge for 79.99 on Aug 26. On Sept 25 I received an e-mail notice for another order of the product to be charged to my Visa from WCS Services. I contacted the company and was informed that since I did not cancel within 15 days of the free trial they charged me for the full order. They also informed me that I agreed to an auto ship program every 30 days. This information was in the terms and conditions which I did not read (you don't see the terms and conditions unless you click on the link). However I did receive my trial sample buy not within the 15 days, so did not think of cancelling. I was able to cancel the 2nd order.

The cancel within 15 days or pay the full price is a BAD BUSINESS since it takes longer than 15 days to get the product. Also the Auto Ship in the terms and conditions instead of having to agree to it (using a checkbox or other means) is BAD BUSINESS. Since the information is in the terms and conditions the company is not doing anything wrong but it is not Good Business - A lot (probably most) people do not read the terms and conditions).
