Pedestrian access to Purdys train station

The pedestrian access to Purdys train station has been closed for 6 months now. We are now expected to walk down the driveway no sidewalks, cars parked on driveway to reduce walking area. My complaint to metro north assured me that this access would be restored "as soon as possible". 3 weeks later and it is still closed. I just want an answer-when will this be restored? Situation is unsafe and will only get more so with winter weathe
