I am emailing to complain about a recent online order in which I received unprofessional customer support. I ordered a Sealy crib mattress on 11/16 among other items and originally the email I got said I would be getting my items by 11/28. When I checked on this date, I found out that my order for the crib mattress was cancelled even though I had not cancelled it and had paid in full for the mattress (77.99) and the shipping (17.99) with a gift card I had.
When I called the 800 Target customer support line they could not tell me why the order was cancelled and at first did not want to refund me! Finally they said they would refund me for my order (77.99) but not the shipping or taxes on this product so I was out about $25. They refunded me with an eGiftCard which apparently you can't use in the store and given how the previous online transaction panned out I was reluctant to ordering anything else from Target online. I asked for a physical gift card to be mailed to me but was told my request could not be honored. I am very frustrated with the whole situation. I tried to file a complaint with Target.com but could not find a place to do so! Never buying something from Target.com again!
