I purchased a phone from someone. But before I physically purchased the phone I called CS to make sure the phone was not restricted. & was told it was clear to purchase. I purchased the handset. Only to resell it. When I met the potential customer to purchase the phone. I was approached by a salesman telling me the phone was stolen from a verizon store. At that point I was told that the phone was purposely placed as available in hopes to recover the handset. My complaint is that the method used was illegal & caused me to be a victim as well. I paid $150 for the phone I purchased. It could have been avoided
