Miscellaneous

I purchased this vehicle on May 16 and I have had to take it back to the shop 5/18,5/28,6/11,7/9, picked it up on 7/10 and had to return it again on 7/11, oxygen sesor had to be replaced on 7/24, had to take it back again on 8/15 for an inspection that was never done initially, and then on the 20th which is when they informed me that the motor was shot. Some of these dates the car was in the shop for more than a day and I had to try to find a way to and from work. This has been the worst experience I have ever encountered and they will not do anything to remedy the situation. They are telling me I need to pay for the motor which I disagree with because this vehicle was taken in because it was leaking antifreeze and they call me back and tell me I needed to go back because they needed to talk to me about the car. When I got there, with my future mother in law, the mechanic turned the car on and there was a very loud knocking which was not there when I took it to them. The mechanic said that he didn't know what it was or what happened. When I talked to the owner today (8/23) I was informed that the motor blew! This is obviously not my fault. I don't know what they did when they were 'fixing' it, but, this should not be on me. Some of the dates I mentioned was because the check engine light was on. Again, there is no reason I should have had to take it back more than once for the same problem. I don't know what kind of scam they are running, but, I do know they need to be stopped. I feel they should stand good for this vehicle and either fix it properly at their expense or return my money so I can go to a reliable auto dealer for a car that I can depend on.
