Ripoff - bad business

We purchased a motor for a (Chrysler 300 M) from Chris for $1080 and had a mechanic put the motor in as soon the motor was installed and started up it started knocking "bad motor" had to pay the mechanic $580 for this process. Then had the motor taken out and delivered back to Chris that claims he was going to rebuild a new motor with new parts took motor back to mechanic to put in this time paid mechanic $730 my daughter drove the car one day maybe 50 miles and once again motor went out motor knocking "bad motor". Called Chris on the phone to advise him motor again is no good he said he would call me back never did.

The following day went over to Salvage Yard to request refund from Chris that stated he would only guarantee the motor and we would have to pay someone to once again take back out and return to him to review. Chris would NOT and stated he wasn't going to provide us with a current receipt for the rebuilt motor and called the Irving police to remove us from his property. Irving police officer stated to us that he has been working that area for 20 years and has been called out for several complaints about BAD business at Dallas County Auto Salvage. Police officer advised Chris we wanted a receipt, Chris says he doesn't keep paperwork on property and would give us a call the following day to get it to us, again no return phone call, no receipt. We have experienced the same type of issues I have read with other complaints online. Chris will lie to you tell you one thing then say he didn't say it. He will continuously put you on hold and not return to phone, he will disconnect the call, he will answer the phone and say it's not him, he will say he will return your call never returns call's, they will give you the complete run around very rude. I hate I didn't do my research before I did business with Chris this has been a horrible experience any advise anyone can give me on what I can do would be greatly appreciated. We are out of 2,390 for motor purchased and installation for a vehicle that's still not working. Not to mention the money we purchased for the car that broke down the very next day. This has been a very frustrating experience and whoever I can help from not wasting their money with this company the better. I don't understand how he is able to do business like this and rip so many people off.
