Worst service ever!

On boxing day, we purchased a reclining couch, two reclining chairs and a 7pc dining set from The Brick. The guy upon purchase told us that everything but one chair could be delivered on the 10th. The second chair would come in February. That was fine for us as we were moving to a new house on the 6th of Jan. Just around new years, we get a call saying they could deliver everything on the 2nd. No thank you, we have nowhere to put it as we don't move till the 6th. They said that was fine and they would keep their original delivery date. So on the 5th we get a call saying there will be a chair delivered on the 10th. "What else?" 7pc dining set. "What else?" Nothing. (Apparently, and I had this non-commitally confirmed by the manager on the 17th. They had given the furniture to someone else earlier, assuming they would get their next shipment in time to send to us.) WRONG! So on the 10th the one chair and dining set arrives. On the 12th we get a call saying they could deliver the other chair and possibly the couch on the 17th. Obviously we agree to this delivery. On the 17th I am late getting to work as I am waiting for the delivery. My husband takes time off work to relieve me and wait for the delivery. He gets suspicious and calls The Brick. Well the guy NEVER SET IT UP!!! So we go in that night to talk to a manager. Now I don't know what part of "manager" the girl at the front desk understood as "cal the rude guy in overalls hauling around boxes"? I may be blonde but I can clearly tell he was NOT the manager. Well he may have been rude but he knew how to get things done and called the real manager. (Maybe he should be promoted to the front desk and the girl to haul boxes.) So the manager was a decent enough guy. Big schmoozer, really wanted to sell us something at a low cost.in the end the only thing he did manage to accomplish was a "promise" and a business card saying our next purchase would be at cost. Well I should have ripped up the card right there because I don't intend to return to The Brick, unless I need to go back and complain again in person tonight. Frankly I have a better chance of seeing one of the dogs craps in the backyard turn to a bird and fly away then to expect any good service from The Brick. (Let me just say that while talking to the manager, I made it very clear that the delivery today, the 24th needs to be here by 2pm as I leave for work at 2:10pm. Not a little after two, or 5 mins before two. They need to have come and gone by 2pm as we are not taking any more time off work.) My husband just informed me that The Brick left a voicemail. They will be here between 1pm - 4pm. *&^%^$%^&@*$# (!!!

Sadly when we originally purchased the furniture, a friend of mine tried to warn me away from The Brick as they were not satisfied with their experience. Like a fool I stuck up for The Brick and told her it was probably just a "fluke". Boy was i wrong!!!
