The Brick Langley, BC provided probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It took The Brick nine months to get a replacement for a defective chair, after I had complained three times. The initial complaint was filed in May, the replacement chair arrived nine months later. OK, that's life. The entire thing went south when I got a call from a "customer service" clerk who asked when I was going to come in to pick the chair up. I explained that I had the flu, and I wasn't sure when I'd be well enough. That didn't sit well with Ms. Officious, who again asked me "When?". I reiterated that I was sick and I was not certain. Once again, "I need to know when!" (with attitude). I asked her if it would be better for me to come in and potentially infect her and others, or to wait a few days. She hung up. A call to her manager was required to insure that the chair I waited nine months for would not be sold out from under me. I then sent an email to The Brick's customer service address. It was ignored for three weeks, after which I sent a follow up requesting the courtesy of a response. That was three days ago and I am still being ignored. Looking for good customer service? Keep looking. You won't get any from The Brick and, since they are now owned by Leon's, my suspicion is that the "ignore 'em until they go away" policy is a cross-corporate thing. We'll see.
