A clear phone scam made to my land-line number. The caller claimed to work for a company providing support for microsoft and stated that a computer linked with my name by its unique chip number was infected by malware. I ended the call when she was telling me to give access to my computer so their qualified technicians could 'help me'.

The web address she left me is one of about a dozen identically worded sites claiming to be certified by microsoft and presumably selling software to solve fictional problems and/or deliver malware.
