Minority profiled while shopping

Items totalled 66 dollars. Continued to use debit card to pay for items. Debit screen said 39.70 total. Card would not process. This was attempted 3 times with no success. I finally asked cashier why was it not processing and finally agreed to pay with credit. Cashier was processing my order as EBT food stamps.

He never asked me, he never checked my card, he assumed based on my skin color and the fact that I had two small children that I was paying for items with an EBT card. I will not return to this store and am highly irritated that this has happened.

I am asking for an apology, response, and communication with this particular store about their checkout process. This is ridiculous that working tax paying American women still have to deal with this type of profiling! Appalling and completely unacceptable Kroger.
