No loyalty to long term customers

DirecTV does not recognize nor reward loyal customers. We have been long tine customers for 16 years. Recently our bill hit an all time high of $119 per month for service and to upgrade to HD service we have to sign a two year contract.

I called to ask why I have to pay $119 when a new customer with no loyal payment history gets the same package for $84 per month for the first year and $20 off per month for the second year. That's $750 total. I was offered $25 a month off for 6 months. A whopping $150 savings for 16 years of Loyalty. Well this loyal customer is now calling Dish and leaving DirecTV. They don't value me so why should I support them. They've got there wires crossed. You need to retain the customers you have or all the new customers aren't worth squat. Go to Dish... Friends say that they seem happier when they do.
