New Customers get hooked up, existing Customers get nothing! - Direct TV

Wow, so the new flyer I got in the mail from DirectTv offers new Customers our programming packet for almost half of what we pay at $34.99/month for a year but that not all, free HD ($10/month value) for that year plus NFL Sunday Ticket ($229 something/year) free as well! When as a longtime Customer I called to inquire about incentives I was told after I woudn't just take the "well, we always offer things to our new customers" as a proper response that I could get a small credit for 3 month and an HD credit for 6 month. When all of it is said and done new Customers get hooked up with about $800 in savings for a year but loyal Customers get about $100 if they contact you and complain enough. Way to show that new Customers are more importatnt than the loyal ones. Tempted to switch to one of the other providers that constantly contact us with amazing offers.#1 DirectTv? I doubt ist, when it's cloudy we loose reception, when it drizzles we loose receiption and oh yeah they initially didn't install HD correctly but billed us for years til we by accident found out and tried to console us with $35 gift card. Only after complaining to the BBB did we get at least half of what was charged over the years credited, as even the managers were rude and indifferent at DirectTV initially. None of their techs over the years that came to the home for various problems ever even said something that HD wasn't installed properly even though they clearly would have seen it, just like a good ole TV repair man discovered it and pointed it out to us. DirectTv should offer special incentives like these to existing, loyal Customers as well.
