Petco Emolyee giving wrong advice on animal feeder and now animal is DEAD! - Misleading advice on animal feeder by employee

My husband went to Petco last Friday knowing that we were going to be out of town for 6 days and wanted to purchase the gold fish feeder that we have purchased for the past few years when we have left town. The regular feeder was out of stock and another feeder was recommended by the employee. Unfortunately, it was not a gold fish feeder and we were unaware of this as we went based off of the employees recommendation. Our gold fish, Sparkey, is now dead and died a horrible death. My 7 year old son won Sparkey at a carnival three years ago and he had grown from a one inch white carnival fish to an eight inch golden beauty. That fish ate out of our hands and spit water at us while perched on the ledge between our kitchen and family room. I am so distraught and angry as he did not have to die had someone who works in a pet store known what they were talking about. These employees aren't even high school graduates and we are even more stupid to be accepting their advice. Shame on me for trusting someone and losing our family gold fish over this.
