I had 5 dvr's, over 200 channels, highest speed internet and phone for not over $100. I then needed a fax line and several customer service agents told me "distinctive ring" for fax lines was not available at twc.

I run a business out of my house now and needed fax line, i called at least 4 maybe more times to confirm there was not distinctive ring, all agents confirmed this to be true. So i had the phone taken off.

My bill went up by $100.00 immediately. I called and complained to no avail.

I found out that twc does have distinctive ring. I had been given wrong information each time i called. When i called to reconnect i expected my rate would go down. I was wrong they wanted to add and $30 - $40 to it.

I was upset and called several more times hoping to speak to a more reasonable agent or a supervisor. As a matter of fact, i asked to speak to a supervisor everytime i called. There were never any available and although i was told they would call me no one ever did.

Today i typed "complaint" in the search box on their site and had a chat start instantly. I spent 2 1/2 hours in the chat. During that chat to complain about the wrong information, which prompted the phone cancellation, "lareth" tried his best to help me. He could not.

I explained that they had doubled my bill and nothing could be done. I feel like they have their hands in my pockets trying to both punish me while refusing to accept responsibility for the misinformation i received.

I have received no apologies, no discounts, no attempt to re-instate original price structure and was told that i was frozen out from all promotions because i was an existing customer.
