Miscellaneous

I purchased a new 2005 mxima and a mileage of 38000 i was told by the deailrs service department tha the car needs a new transmission.
Icontacted nissans customer srvice and explained that the car has 60000 miles
warrantee knowing that the time warrantee was over the transmission should
not have to be replaced. The car since new was only driven by my wife and myself. We both are seniors and over 65yrs. The car was never involved in any mishap or accident and always garaged
i also hear of two other similar occurances with nissan cars.
I feel that nissan should stand behind its cars and if this was not a defective
transmission, it last alot longer. Thank you
