Dishonest software service technicians and not honoring extended warrenty

Software technicians at Dell could not fix my computer which is reading my DVD drive as a CD rom drive only. I bought an extended software service contract, and they hang up on me after taking two hours of my time and fixed nothing! They also took 15 mintues of my time trying to sell me a registry product which i did not want nor asked for.
