I received a letter at very difficult financial time in my life. Too good to be true. The only reason I was not a "victim" to this fraud is because I am a smart woman who decided to reseach this check before attempting to cash it. However, it was very tempting to try. I researched the letter on line and found that it was indeed fraud. These types of letters and checks can be very hear breaking to those who actually cash it and use the money. When the check turns out to be bad, their bank account goes negative and most of us cannot re-pay a large sum like this. We will then have our accounts shut down due to fraud and most likely be reported to check systems.

These sorts of scams MUST be stopped! These people need to pay for their mistakes!
