Johnson Financial Consumer Lottery
Counterfiet check

Miscellaneous

So I got a check in the mail yesterday for 3,950 dollars. It was accompanied by a letter saying I won a consumers lottery. The grand prize was 480,000 and my cut was 39,000. They sent me the check so I could go cash it send them the 3,950 to cover the taxes on my prize. I just knew this could not be real so I took the check to wells fargo bank... That is where the check was drawn from... And the letter I received. I explained to the bank that I was pretty sure this was not real and asked them what I should do. They confirmed my suspicions and told me the check was real but that there is no such thing as consumers lottery. The check had been stolen from someones bank acct. I turned the check over to their fraud department and filed a police report... This is just an fyi for the next person who gets one of these checks... If it seems to good to be true it probably is...

Beware consumers lottery is not real... There is no grand prize and you do not want to cash the check and send them money... They get money and you get in trouble for fraud...
