Home Modification Stalled With Foreclosure Letter and Sale Listing

We have been trying to get a home modification from Chase. We were directed to a lady in newport news, we received a letter saying we were going to go into foreclosure so we called her and she said that is normal protocol. Today our house was listed in our local paper to go up for sale the end of this month. We have been working and working with these people without any straight answers. Not to mention they keep wanting us to send the same papers over and over. We have been doing as told. And for what? To lose our home??? What is up with all of this???
