Ripped Off of Thousands of Dollars

I had a very large estate sale at my home in Washington DC. I hired the services of Bethesda Estate Sale Services and dealt wtih Carol W. And Brette B. While they were nice when I met with them, you have no idea how bad they treated me after the sale. They were hired to price, inventory and sale 5,000 square feet of house furniture, paintings and collectables in my home. While they priced all my property I asked for a pre sale inventory and what property was priced at. I took pictures and even had a web site of my home up online as I was trying to rent it out before I moved away. I had over 60,000.00 worth of property. After the 4th day of the sale I returned home to find nearly all my furniture sold and I was very happy to see this, however when I began to question what things sold for as the contract did call for a deducton on the final day of the sale, I was told that my property was SOLD at a total discount on Day 1, and was advertised at a 20% discount on Day 3 and 50% on day 4. I did not agree to the 20% as thats not in the contract nor did I agree to anything other than the prices they had on the inventory. When I got my check i only got 23K for my property and after their 30% discount I only got a check for 16K. I literally gave away all my property to these ladies to bottom price my antiques etc and sell them for nothing. My house is still on their web site. I have begged them to discuss this with me and provided evidence of either items that they sold for way less on day 1, as well as asking what property sold for that they did not inventory at all, and they will not cooperate with me. I even offered them to give me 3K to settle this or I would go to the press, blogs, Rip Off Reports and the BBB. They refused to give me back anything. I warn you AVOID this company and these ladies you will be sorry you used them.
