Well, i am a home health aide. These angencies hirers you as a independent contractor, they wants you to work caring for these older people, which is a defficult job to do, and only wants to pay $5.00 an hour for a living job. This is a 24 hours a day job. For live out, which they classified as hourly is only $ 10.00 an hour. From these $10.00 & $ 5.00 an hour you have to pay liability insurance, which you have to purchest on your own. Then you have to pay all your taxes. Now they reported to the hospitals that they pays between $160.00 & 240.00 a day to CNA's and H.H. A's. Per day. I am asking you if someone from your office could talk a look at the situation to see if we all as CNA's and HHA's can get some form of recognition, for such hard and stressful jobs that we are doing.
