Tried to Rip me off for a 20 minute jo

I contacted Kings Electrical Contractors to install a wall switch timer. The company charges by the job - not by the hour. They explained to me the fee for coming out is 44.95, and this fee is subtracted from the job estimate if the job is performed.

Their job estimate for a 2O minute job was OVER $200.00. I was very mad. I explained to them that most electrical contractors in my area (Boca Raton, FL), charge from $65 - $80.00 per hour.
When I asked the technician how you can charge this much when other electrical contracts can do the job for $80.00 he had the cajones to say "they might not do it right".

I had another electrical contractor perform the job in 20 minutes for a flat hourly rate of $65.00 per hour. More than 1/3 cheaper than Kings Electrical Contractors. I learned a 44.95 lesson.

If you live in the pompano beach, palm beach, coral springs area, do not use kings electrical contractors as your electrical contractor. They are a rip off company.
