Since the new policy to be bring your own bags to stores to avoid being charged, I had brought in 4 of my own "Target bags" to Target to shop for my home items needed. I had purchased these Target bags weeks prior and have already taken the tags off.

Today, I was watching the cashier ring my items while I help to put the items back into my "already purchased Target bags." I was watching what I was being charged for to make sure I was not being overcharged since it has been happening to me quiet frequent at Target lately. After seeing the cashier ring the last item, i had stopped watching the charges to retrieve my wallet in my purse, paid for the items and left the store. I usually check the receipt as i am walking away from the register to make sure but I did not this time since I was watching the register charges. Little did I know, when I got home, I happen to look at the receipt and found charges for my "already purchased Target bags" at the bottom of the receipt after all my items were charged. I was so furious. The face that the cashier did not even bother to ask me if they were my own bags that I had brought in myself or not and that none of my bags had the store tags on them so how did she charge me? She must of just put in the price herself.

I was so upset that I had to drive all the way back to the Target store to get refunded back. I spoke to their customer service return counter and told the cashier my story and had nothing to say except refund me. As if, it was no big deal. The customer service cashier had got a guy to come over and told him my story. His response was he listened to her tell my story, then looked at me and then walked away. What kind of customer service was that? I think the bigggest problem with that was these look like 12 year old kids. Even though, if they are going to work there, they need to be more responsive to thier customers so that it can be corrected or it does not happen again to their customers to be inconvienced and want to come back to shop there.
