Truly terrible experiences with your Appliance Warranty Repair Service

I have spent at least 4 hours on the phone over the past week trying to have a service technician from Sears Canada come out to my home to repair my dishwasher.
In addition I had to stay at home almost two full days waiting for the service person to show up only for this to never happen!

Sears staff and management have failed on four occaisions to call me with updates as they promised.
Additionally they did not deliver on commitments made to me to get the necessary part and service person to my house to address my problem.
Regardless of what time of day it is I have had to wait 20 to 40 minutes to speak their representative.
After being a loyal customer of Sears for 30 years i am calling it quits.
I don't intend to support this company anymore. I will shop elsewhere for all of my family's needs and not just those which are appliance related.
In addition I will not renew my appliance warranty which currently costs us more than 2100.00 every two years.
There are great appliance repair shops out there which certainly would value and be more deserving of my business than Sears.
I used to think Sears was a great company which took pride in providing great customer service but sadly this is a thing of the past.
I hear Sears is not doing too well these days and after my terrible experience with their people i can well understand why this is!
I am going to check my investment portfolio tomorrow to ensure that if i hold shares in sears that I quickly sell them off - such reflects the poor level of confidence I now have in this company.
