New Lawn Tractor problem - Craftman Lawn Tracto

My new model 28857 Craftsman lawn tractor's mower deck does not raise to the 4" as advertised. I noticed it the first time that I used it. The tractor now has 30 hours on it. I have read the same compliants from many others on the internet. I found that a reasonable fix is to swap the non adjustable link lift located on the right side of the mower deck with the same type link that is on the left side, which is adjustable. This would give about another inch in raising the deck. The part number needed is 195181. I think that Sears should provide the part without any cost to me. I am capable of installing the part myself or a Sears service man could install it at my house without charge. I did not purchase any service contract. The mower was purchased on 06/12. Thanks, Ron
