I bought my ticket for a domestic flight on Continental Airlines with my AMX card. I had one carry on bag and paid to check one bag for $25 to my AMX card. Continental ran out of overhead space and took all carry on bags of passengers at the end of the line for alternate storage. My bag met all carry on requirements for height, weight, etc., I had carried it on two previous flights on the 3-way ticket, but a rude agent insisted I give up the bag as I was at the end of the line on the full flight, handed me a ticket to claim it, refused to answer my inquiries and rushed me through. I was never advised of a charge, never agreed to pay a charge, but they charged it to my AMX without my authorization. I didn't know until I reviewed my bill today. This is a total scam pulled on everyone at the end of the line and I am determined to fight it. When I buy an airline ticket with a credit card I am not giving them free reign to abuse it with trumped up charges.
