I had my Inspiron 1720 Vista built Feb. On Dec. 7 joined software coverage and 7 technicians advised me to change Vista to Window 7. So I trusted them First Home Premium Window was installed and wasn't compatible so I was given credit for it. Then put in Ultimate Window. From Jan until October I have paid for software coverage (15 itimes 4 incidents @ $238.00= $3570.00. I have had 60 technicians in my laptop since Window Ultimate was installed. Nothing but problems.

Now found out from 1 tech hardware defective. Hardware dept. Ran test never mentioned window 7. Sent me new hardware put everything back including Window 7. My disk wouldn't work so went to Goggle. Guess what after all this I got an technician from Bangalore who finally was really honest to me. He told me that my laptop's hardware is too small drives not working and rams not right. This laptop is not compatible to Window 7 and shouldn't have been put in here.in other words, everyone was lying to me including supervisors who were having techs call to help me resolve my problem. When they called same issue stealing my software coverage costs and then I would beg supervisors to give it back.

All this time it was all lies and misreputation. What they did for me was give me an refurbished 17R Inspiron laptop with Home Premium Windows. I am not happy they were the ones who ruined my Inspiron 1720 Vista I deserve a new 17R Inspiron laptop and to credit my Dell Financial Service Account for all those software coverages that was all based on lies. I am not returning my defective labtop or paying my bill on my Dell Financial Account until I get new laptop and $3,570.00 back on my account. I have been with them since the beginning bought every software from Dell and always used their software coverage. This is all their fault. They were the ones who made the mistake and want to punish me. On their Dell Support it shows what models in laptops should have Window 7 now techs know I know now they are saying the truth. How can they lie to the customers like this. If this tech didn't tell me the truth the game would still be played
