Spam calls using unregistered magic jack tlelphone numbe

We have been receiving spam telephone calls from an unidentified life insurance company. The message they leave on our answering machine provides no identification. When we call the number indentified in caller ID we receive a message from magic jack saying that the number is an unregistered magic jack number. Any ideas how we can stip these calls?
