Always unavailable. - magic jack phone service

I just bought the magic jack for my house.in the morning the mailbox saying that the subscriber is not available even though the PC is working and evrything looks fine. Only after i make a call from magic jack number the line is unblocked. It looks like magic jack needs some kind of "kick" at the beginning.
