I lost Money to a ATM

It was about 10am when I stopped to withdraw $300 at a ATM machine located at a Pilot travel Center in Corbin KY. I used my debit card and waited to receive the money. Unfortunately of the 300 I was expecting only one $20 bill came out and then a receipt for 303.5. Frustrated I turned to the store manager who was watching the scene. He showed a number on the machine to call for help. When I called I got a lady on the phone who told me rather to refer to my bank. She said the number posted was just for maintenance purpose. I filed two complaints with my bank and till today they ve not been able to help me recover my $280. I don't know who to turn to. I came back later the manager who was my witness told me that at least 2 other customers had got the same incident with that same ATM machine. I need to know how to get my money back. I was not gambling. I was simply trying to get money from my personal account. Why should I lose it? I am very frustrated.
