Help they offered was to reset the Kindle Unit by holding the power switch off for 30 secs. Then stated a hardware failure had occurred and to call the 800# for Kindle Support and get a replacement. Upon calling Kindle Support found they knew nothing about Just Answers even though they are listed as part of Amazon. The tech helped narrow down the problem to the charger unit instead of the Kindle failing. They are replacing the charger unit.
The scam is Just Answers tells you the basic method to check the unit which is just rebooting the unit by holding off the power and then stating it is a hardware failure, then telling you to call Kindle for a unit replacement. The Kindle support 800# was found on the booklet shipped with the Kindle which is where you need to go in the first place. Didn't find the number until after the charges to "Just Answers". I think I got scammed!!!
