Unethical business practices

Its more then just making a profit for AMEX. Its all about greed. I have been a member since 1989.in 21 one years never been late on a payment. I have three different cards with them. I received my October statement and notice my interest rate had been raised almost 4%. I called AMEX. They advsied me they had sent out a mailing in May to all of their clients giving them the opportunity to opt out of the rate increase. I never received that mailing so never had the chance to respond.
Who in their right mind would not have returned that mailer?
AMEX is the apitomy of what is wrong with this country. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Shame on American Express.
