GE Front Load Washer
Front Loading Washer - WCVH6260

My GE Front Loading Washer WCVH6260 stopped working a month ago. I looked inside to find small bits of metal in the stainer. I took the basket out so see what the problem was and found the brace at the back of the basket was corroded because it was aluminum. It is a bad idea to put aluminum in contact with strong detergents that are recommended for heavy duty washers. I have heard that other people have had the same problem with this washer and I think GE should stop using this type of metal in side the washers. When I complained to the help line, they offered a discount on the parts; however I did not want the same thing that I have. GE is a good company... What happened???
