No pick up today - ABC garbage pick up

I am a costumer of ABC Sanitary. I called them to ask when they needed payment so I didn't miss the pick up. The woman said as long as we make the payment before pick up time we were good. We dropped off our payment before they opened the day of the pick up. I called to make sure they received it and had us on their route. The woman on the phone said No, they were not going to pick up our trash because we didn't have it in the day before. Ok, well I understand its late but could I pay an extra charge to have it picked up this week. She said no nothing we can do. I'm pretty sure all it would have taken was a simple call to the driver. I sent them an email but I didn't receive an answer, I guess they don't care about customer service. I'm pretty if they couldn't pick it up on the same day arrangements could have been made to pick up later in the week for an extra charge of course. I'm really disappointed in the lack of communication and the lack of cooperation this company has.in order for me to get my garbage picked up and prevent it from being blown all over the street would be to get another trash company and apparently they don't mind losing customers.
