I contacted this co. About replaceing a muffler. They gave me a price and told me they had the parts in stock. After waitng 30 minutes to watch my part walk in the door they did the repair and about 1 1/2 hrs. Later I was back on the road. Less than 5,000 miles later I brought the truck back to show that the brackets were broke off and the tailpipe rusted through. They rewelded the brackets essentially putting a bandaid on it. About 2 weeks later I brought it back and the mechanic said he would order a new tailpipe, and took down the part #. I told him I'd contact them next week.

I called the following week asking if they had the part. The response I got was they sold it and could have another one in 20 minutes. I said great I'll be there in an hour. Upon arriving at the shop I waited over 25 min. To watch my pipe walk in the door. After 25 minutes of several people beating this pipe on with a hammer they told me " I got the best my money can buy now." After looking at the work its obvious that the pipe is touching the frame of the truck. I brought it to a repitable muffler shop who agreed it needed to be adjusted. I left and went back to Stans Tune Up Center where the mechanic looked at it and agreed it needed to be adjusted. He said he'd fix it right where the truck sits. The mechanic then came out with a pair of pliers and a crowbar, got under the truck and said there was nothing wrong with it. He responded for me to go down the road. At what time another person from the shop came out to argue with me in front of there other customers. I explained I was not happy with the job, and that I would file a complaint with the state of MI. I've never in my life had any business treat me like this. I guess thats what I get for trying to support the little guy. I wish I would have gone to a bigger company.
