Ordered a microcassette transcriber from Sony through Amazon Marketplace on Decembr 23. Did not receive the recorder until Jan 2. The warrenty was for 3 months from date of purchase. I pointed out to the customer service reresentative that we have not had recorder in our possession for 90 days expecially consiering that Feb is a short month. However, the only solution offered was to mail the recorder back and in approx 3 weeks, for a fee of $29.00, we wold receive back a refurbished recorder. I pointed out that we could not maintain our business practice with a secretary not having a recorder from which to work. Asked if they could do anything at all to help with this situation. But, absolutely no compromise of any kind was offered towards accomodatiing our working situation at all. Just out of luck - policy is policy. To bad you will be w/o working materials for 3 weeks but that is just your problem not ours. I will NEVER buy another sony office product!
