My cable bill is on autopay to my Mastercard. The card was compromised by a vendor and MC cancelled my card and overnighted me a new one. I contacted all utility companies with the situation and new payment info. All handled perfectly except TWC, who, after 48 minutes and 4 employees, still couldn't get it right. Now I'm receiving "past due" letters and threatening phone calls. "Steven, " the 3rd person I spoke with from TWC today said all will be taken care of on next billing. Problem? They still have old card info! I "think" it's taken care of now, with a double bill, but won't know for sure until either my card is billed or my cable is disconnected. I'm done with TWC... I hope to have a dish installed before their next billing cycle. I've been a loyal customer for many many years. This has been too nerve-wracking and the sheer incompetence of their phone operators has pushed this client to a different vendor.
