Toxic cable company

I have always paid my Time Warner Cable bill by autopay. I moved on September 24. (When I pay my bill, I am bringing a copy of the moving company receipt and the processed check with me to prove when I moved) and My Time Warner Cable bill was paid on September 15":? When I returned my cable equipment, TWC owed me money. I asked the clerk if I could settle the bill right then. She said to wait for the bill. Now TWC says that I owe them about $30 and that it is 36 days deliquent. I am so tired of messing with this STUPID company, so I decided to just pay it online. They cancelled my account, so now i will have to drive to one of their scuzzy offices in some warehouse district to pay this bill. This is not how to treat a customer of 8 years who never paid a bill late. I am glad i switched to verizon. Stay away from this company. It's toxic. I hope that anyone thinking about using this company will drop them after they read this posting. I am contacting bbb of north texas and the texas attorney general. Time warner cable are the biggest crooks next to bp.
