Beware if additional repairs are required

I needed a quick repair to my damaged chimney, so I contacted A-1 Affordable Construction. They gave me a reasonable quote, which I accepted, and work began immediately. After they began work, I was informed of additional repairs that had to be done. While I don't doubt that the additional repairs were required, I was absolutely gouged on the price of those additional repairs.in checking with other sources afterward, I found I was changed THOUSANDS more than what is reasonable and expected for those repairs. While the quality of the work seems fine (time will tell), I'm very unhappy about the price gouging, and will not be using A-1 Affordable Construction again.
