I have been trying to get my 9.5% mortgage modified by Chase for the past 2 years. During the process I was told to pay 500.00 (180.00) less than my statement. Every time I called I was asked to submit another piece of paper. I was transferred to several different department during this time. Last month I was told that 1000.00 was needed to get modification approval. I sent the money and when I called to ask the status I was informed that my account was sent to a collection agency!!! I called them and they needed 20000.00 to stop the foreclosure process. I do not have that. SHAME on a multi-million $ company for refusing to help a struggling home owner and for lying just to get more money out of me. My home means nothing to them but everything to me. I was not told my mod. Was denied.
