Chase - Chase Home Affordable Modification Program

Chase Mortgage's loan modification has given us no hope of staying in our home. Starting in August we entered into the loan modification process. We were giving a modified payment based on my income and my husbands disability of $1513.73 a month we paid this amount until April upon receiving the final loan mod. Which is now higher than the amount based on our current total income. Now our new payment is $1798.00. How do they think this will help families keep their homes. My husband has been out of work for over a year now. We were struggling with the $1513.73 a month California does nothing but increase our taxes, utility bills and pricing on food and goods. I was expecting a fair chance at keeping my home. We have lived there for 15 years. I even wrote a couple of letters to Chase hoping that someone would have a heart! My husband and I have worked hard all our lives and have always taken great care of our home. Thanks for kicking us when we've down Chase!!!
