Banana Republic
Estocking fees

Miscellaneous

I received a sweater as a gift along with a gift receipt. I returned the sweater on the 19th of December and was told I could have a gift card for the amount of purchase. I agreed to that but didn't know the purchase price. Salesperson 0001076 told me the amount was $168.30 and I agreed to that. She wrapped the card in the receipt and handed it to me. It wasn't till I was in the car that I unwrapped the card and found the actual purchase price had been $198. But there was a 15% fee. The fee was $ 29.70. I returned the sweater the day I received it by post, never worn except to try it on. Is there anything I can do?
