Gift cards dishonest review

Sears has a new scam that in my opinion is so dis honest and is going to cause them so many problems.

I purchased some t-shirts for my husband, he chose 4 and I went to return the others. They told me I had been issued a 10.00 gift cars when I made my purchase and that they are going to charge me for the gift cars from the price of my return. They claim you are just getting a 10.00 gift card for spending over a certain amount but if you return the merchandise they take charge you the 10.00.

I tried to make an early Christmas purchase and told them I did not want the gift card because it is a gift and they said their computer would not let them do it. So I spent 70.00 for a running suit and if it is returned I only get 60.00 back and I don not get the money back for the card, it must be used for merchandise. The person receiving your gift gets short changed.

Basically they are holding onto approximately 10% of the purchase no matter what.

Everyone knows 80% of gift cards are lost, it costs you gas to come back and they know you will spend
more than 10.00
