Excellent service - Paint

Please pass on the following compliment to Rick Thomas in the Paints department at store no 4621 at Leesburg, VA

We bought almost 45 gallons of paint including some primer 3 weeks back.

Rick served us almost every time we were there.

Here are my observations
- Excellent service

- Listens patiently to customers

- Asks the right questions

- Advises correctly

- Customers ask for him by name
- Interacts very well with irate customers
- In one specfic situation a customer came back not happy with the color

The fact of the matter was he had advised the customer not to buy that particular color, he did his best to help out instead of saying. I told you so!
In another situation he guaranteed the customer that what he suggested will work and the customer came back to compliment him

We have seen him interact with us and other customers and he clearly displays his competence with confidence and makes you feel at ease even if you don't know anything about paints and painting Home depot in Leesburg is an excellent example of courtesy and Knowledge

And could be considered as a bench mark for service though i would not give it the same rating for product knowledge in a few departments
