I purchased a $100 Macy's Gift Card from Chase Myers in Chandler, AZ. Everything seemed fine and the amount was verified on the card via phone. The pin was scratched off, but he seemed a decent enough guy. The next day when I went to use it I noticed that there was a balance of only $5.
I called Macy's customer service and they verified that Chase Myers had called in and used the card online. Yes, they verified that he has used the card. When I e-mailed and called him and offered to allow him an opportunity to make amends, he chose not to.
