Chase card is dangerous to your financial health

When we paid our credit balance in full, as we had done repeatedly before, we mailed the check five days before the due date. Chase credited that payment one day after the due date, and charged a $39 late fee and finance charges. When we called, they removed the late charge reluctantly but said that the finance charge would remain with the explanation "that's the way we make our profit."

We do not have the same problem with any other credit card. All credit card holders with Chase should get together and start a class action against the company. We, of course, canceled our card.
