Driver license scan

Driver license was scanned with prior permission when I bought wine. Cashier just did it. Looked at me like I was nuts when I objected. Didn't know where the information went. Told me "noplace". All data goes someplace or Target wouldn't want it. Service desk people were smug. "we can do it, we will do it". Didn't know where info went. Were "sure" it was dumpled afer 90 days. How? By who? I was told by service people that they didn't care if I bought wine there. Fine. I won't buy wine or anything else.
