International Wine Cellars (or Shermer Specialties, Or Merchant Direct)
They send you expired wine that tastes like vinegar for your introductory offer

Cafes, Bars, Restaurants

I ordered this at myfreelaptop.com - another rip-off, and granted, it wasn't more than $30. But it wasn't worth $1. I used to work in a winery (but have to connection to one now), so I know what wine tastes like when it has gone bad, and this wine had gone bad. I called to complain, and they didn't say anything, and I asked if the next shipment would be better, and again they said nothing. So I canceled the membership.

I honestly poured the wine down the drain it was so bad, and that is very unusual for me. I will even drink it if it's been open 1-2 days too long. This was a 2005 Pinot - should have been consumed over a year ago.

I assume many people don't know the difference, and when they drink the horrible wine, they just assume their taste buds are off. But no, they're just sending you bad wine. They probably buy bad wine from people who would just throw it away, but that's only my speculation.
