I hear other banks are the worst but i don't believe it - Chase Mortage - Loan

First I have to admit that this is my second loan mod with Chase. But bothe experiences have been hell.

My first loan mod took 13 months to complete. I started the process in 2008 before falling behind and was given the run around and lied to for 3 months. Every week I called it was a different story multiple lie after multiple lie. First they ahd the paperwork then they didn't then it was with an uderwriter, then they were missing the paperwork. I even got told in July of 08 that it had been approved and i was to receive my paperwork within 7 business days. Two weeks later I was told that it hadnt even gone to underwriter yet. So of course i stopped paying them. They were RUDE, UNACCOMDATING and THREATENING for the most part although i will admit that a couple were very nice. It finally got done in March of 09. But then I found out that I "magically" had a balloon payment tied to the end of my loan but no one could tell me how much it was.in 9/09 i got laid off and and took a 30% pay cut.in the same month I got my tax statements. Found out the house is worth half of what I owe to Chase not inlcuding this balloon payment. So I am now working on modifcation # 2. Its been 2 1/2 months now and same story. Every time I call I get told that my file was "coded incorrectly" but they should have an answer in 48 hours. How many different codes do they have for "NEEDS A MODIFICATION". We will see how long this one takes. PLUS BEWARE, my friend has Chase and just went through the mod, did his trial period and got his new loan (They would not tell him what his new loan was going to be during the trial period) His loan payment is now higher then it was BEFORE!
