Joel Wilson ripped me off for $200.

To work for his 2nd rate company I was required to use his 'company cell phone'. Why? I already had a perfectly working cell phone.

When we parted ways I mailed it back to him. A few days later I got the cell phone in the mail. Joel said that he didn't get it back w/in 24hrs so he wasn't accepting it and he was deducting $200 off my final paycheck.

He had made me sign a contract and fax it to him while I was in way over my head on a job for JCW. This was a slick move; overwhelm a person w / work and then demand a contract be signed when they don't have the time to thoroughly read it.

I was getting paid $20 an hr to work for JCW Consulting so that means I worked 10 hrs for free. This is a popular scam amongst 2nd tier IT consulting companies

I guess Joel is in the cell phone business as well and this is how he sells cell phones?
